Dr. Henry Leen A. Magahis is a distinguished professional known for his multifaceted expertise as a technology integrator, consultant, researcher, scholar, writer, editor, and educator. He is currently an associate professor at De La Salle University, Manila. His esteemed credentials include recognition as an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Educator Level 2, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, and Microsoft Certified Educator, both locally and internationally. Dr. Magahis has held significant roles such as School Principal and Officer-in-Charge of E. Zobel Foundation, Inc. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts in Philippine Studies - Language, Culture, and Media from De La Salle University, Manila, and holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino from the Philippine Normal University, Manila.
In his extensive research pursuits, Dr. Magahis explores diverse fields including Bibliometrics Analysis, Education Technology, Philippine Studies, Semiotics, Gender Equality, Comparative Studies, and Analysis. He is a founding editor of SINAYA, a pioneering research journal aimed at senior high school teachers and students in the Philippines, jointly managed by De La Salle University, De La Salle Lipa, and De La Salle Santiago Zobel. Previously, he served as the Research and Immersion Coordinator of the Senior High School at De La Salle Santiago Zobel.
Dr. Magahis co-founded Networked Learning PH, Inc., a national professional organization dedicated to online teachers and ICT for education researchers, advocating inclusive education through 21st-century principles. He was recently appointed as the editor-in-chief of Dalumat eJournal, a national refereed e-journal focusing on Filipino Studies, further solidifying his commitment to academic discourse and knowledge dissemination. For his outstanding contributions, Dr. Magahis has been honored with Associate Membership by the National Research Council of the Philippines.
