With 20+ years, Ed has dedicated himself to reshaping education in diverse, multicultural environments. As the Head of Year 2 at the Chinese International School in Hong Kong, Ed leads the charge in designing an integrated, forward-thinking curriculum that harnesses digital innovation to create meaningful, real-world learning experiences. His approach blends the bicultural nuances, cultivating a global perspective.

An Apple Distinguished Educator, Ed is no stranger to pushing the boundaries of educational innovations and technology with creative ways to reach educators and learners alike. As such, he founded the Future of Learning (FOL) Conference in 2019, starting with #FOLHK, a free hub for educators eager to explore the cutting edge of learning innovation. This has become an annual event in Hong Kong, and from this, FOL has a little sister with #FOLSEA (Southeast Asia).

Ed’s philosophy is simple: equip today’s learners and educators with the tools they need to not just keep pace but to leap ahead in a world that’s constantly evolving.
