Future of Learning Southeast Asia Conference 2024

In this hands-on workshop, Emily Jones (Apple Distinguished Educator) and Preeti Williams (Apple Learning Coach) will explore how our littlest learners can engage with the exciting world of robotics and early coding. Using fun, interactive robots such as Indi and Dash, alongside beginner-friendly coding apps, we will dive into fundamental coding concepts such as sequencing, selection and repetition. The session will demonstrate how play-based learning and technology can empower even the youngest minds to understand and apply computational thinking in a tangible way. Through a series of engaging activities, participants will discover practical ways to incorporate robotics into early education, helping young children explore problem-solving, creativity and collaboration.
